The site and the workspace
V OS is a private personal workflow operated by its owner. Its Google connection uses the app name Hermes. This website explains that workflow; it is not the private workspace and does not offer public accounts or a Google sign-in.
The site has no contact form, advertising, or added analytics. Serving web pages can involve technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, processed by the hosting service. Private Notion pages, messages, calendars, and files are not published here.
Google information used by Hermes
With the owner’s Google authorization, the private connection can work with:
- Gmail messages and metadata, including reading, sending, or modifying mail when requested.
- Google Calendar calendars and events, including requested appointment changes.
- Google Drive file discovery and reads, plus management of files created by or explicitly opened with the app.
- Google Docs documents and Google Sheets spreadsheets for requested reading and editing.
These capabilities support personal organization, summaries, drafting, and requested actions. Permission to access a service is not a standing instruction to send messages, change appointments, or share files.
Processing and storage
Requested work can involve the owner’s Hermes runtime, connected services, and the AI provider selected for that work. Relevant content may be included in model requests or saved in the owner’s notes, files, session history, and backups. Commands and replies may also pass through Telegram or Discord when those channels are used.
Each connected service processes information under its own terms and policies. This notice does not claim that processing stays entirely on one device or that third-party providers retain no information.
Control, retention, and removal
The owner can stop using the connection and revoke Hermes access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not automatically remove existing email, calendar events, documents, session records, or backups.
Saved records and backup copies can outlast an individual request. Removing information requires checking the relevant source service and any retained workflow copies. No fixed automatic deletion period is represented by this notice.
